Brierley 1954 Vintage Stratocaster set. Wound with heavy Formvar wire and oversized hand beveled alnico 3 magnets to typical early '50's outputs. Fibre flatwork is used and the assembled bobbins are dipped in nitro lacquer. The pickups are hand scatter wound and the completed pickups are wax potted in a paraffin wax/beeswax mix. Set comes complete with screws and 'springs'.
These 1954's deliver full sounding vintage tones with a slightly rounded high end, really nailing that early strat tone.
