Brierley Broadcaster/Nocaster set.
These are Mick's hottest vintage Tele set.
Bridge pickup is wound to over 9k with 43 gauge plain Enamel wire and uses Alnico 3 magnets and a zinc reflector plate. The magnets are set in to fibre flatwork and the assembled bobbin is then dipped into nitro laquer to insulate the magnets prior to winding. Finished pickup is wax potted in a beeswax/parrafin wax mix then wrapped with white string.
Neck pickup is wound over 7k with 43 gauge plain enamel wire, alnico 5 magnets magnets are set into fibre flatwork and the assembled bobbin is dipped into nitro lacquer to insulate the magnets prior to winding. A deep brass cover is used on these neck pickups.
